Who we are
The Makers Guild is a Savannah-based creative studio that provides art & design services as well as strategy & management. Since 2019, we’ve been a cornerstone of Savannah’s vibrant art scene. Our artists bring over twenty years of expertise with projects located in Savannah and throughout the United States. We have worked with local, national and international organizations, higher education institutions, cultural and art institutions, nonprofit organizations, government institutions, museums, and more.
Our purpose is to make art accessible through public art, design, and interactive installations that enrich, enhance, and bring joy. Our team believes in collaboration, among artists and with our clients. We work closely with our clients on their projects, providing expertise through all creative aspects of the process. Creating a plan for how to manage all of the pieces of creating the work and following through on making it happen is what we do best.
As a team, and individually, each artist is actively invested in bringing more life and educational opportunities to the cities and small towns we’re granted the opportunity to enrich. We believe in the power of engaging youth as well as our fellow community members and visitors through public art. Our work with educational, art-centric, and social impact groups from, large-scale organizations to grass roots efforts, keeps us ever present and aware of what our neighbors want and need.

What do our clients say about us?
“Tara has been a life saver! She was part of a team working on a large project with many details that had to be managed. She organized the information, followed-up internally with the team and externally with our client. We relied on her heavily and she continuously brought creative solutions that supported the project. I highly recommend Tara, she is an excellent project manager. I look forward to our next project together!”
