Marketing Mentor Recipe Book

Making marketing understandable is Marketing Mentor’s specialty. Marketing Mentor creates a variety of educational materials for their clients to help them build their business. When crafting the language for a particular piece and needing to develop a visual to convey it, Marketing Mentor’s Ilise Benun reached out to us to help develop a concept. Together, along with Dent Design, we created a “Recipe” Book.

The Problem to Solve

Marketing Mentor has an established brand and works with quite a few creative genius designers on a regular basis. Since this project was a collaboration between Marketing Mentor, More Than Words, and Paraphrase Communications (find out more here), they needed to create a sub brand.

  • Discuss the goal of the piece

  • Gather visual inspiration from Marketing Mentor

  • Take the written content and begin to develop ideas for a visual narrative

  • Share illustration concepts

  • Turn it into an instructional guide that tells a story.. and makes it fun!

The client’s Investment

Ilise Benun is nothing if not a pro. After providing the written content developed by all three collaborators and some inspiration, Ilise only needed to invest time in design reviews. Once finalized, finished files were delivered to Marketing Mentor to publish on their website.

Results Delivered

The main objective for Marketing Mentor and their collaborators was to have a compelling guide that would be easily downloadable, attracting new audiences and their existing loyal following. We were able to provide a print version and digital version, both for download and shared as a bonus piece within a bundle.
